The Spring Dinner 2026, jointly organised by Group 5 (Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council) and Group 32 (Hong Kong Automation Technology Council), was successfully held on 18 March, attracting nearly 230 members and guests. The event was well attended and filled with a lively atmosphere.

The joint dinner was honoured to have Ms Lillian Cheong, JP, Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, The Government of the Hong Kong SAR, as the Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guests included Mr Anthony Lam, Chairman of FHKI; Mr Ricky Chan and Mr Wallace Wong, Executive Deputy Chairmen of FHKI; The Hon Ray Wong, Legislative Council Representative – Industrial (First); Mr Gary Lau and Mr Peter Shum, Vice Chairmen of FHKI; as well as Dr Steve Chuang and Prof Daniel M Cheng, Honorary Presidents of FHKI, together with industry leaders from the electronics and automation sectors and friends from the business community. The guests enjoyed a delightful evening together.

The Chairmen expressed their sincere appreciation to members from various groups for their enthusiastic support and extended their best wishes for continued industrial prosperity and business success in Hong Kong in the Year of the Horse.

Prior to the dinner, five member companies showcased their latest technologies, products and solutions through an exhibition, providing opportunities for industry professionals to exchange insights on the latest market developments and explore potential collaboration.

A lucky draw was also arranged during the evening, further enlivening the atmosphere. Guests had a wonderful time and returned home thoroughly satisfied.
