Established in November 2021, the ESG Committee aims to strengthen participation of the industry in achieving Hong Kong’s target in reaching carbon neutrality by 2050 and support industrial members in putting ESG in practice through capacity building, knowledge exchange and cultivating industrial ESG talents.

 The Committee updates members with new regulatory approach, business trends, initiatives and best practices from other region/country on ESG from time to time in order to enhance industrial member’s awareness on the significance of ESG and encourage collaborations on relevant matters. In a view to drive ESG changes in industries, in particular in SMEs, the Committee is planning to embark on a study to help devise a structured approach for industrial companies to achieve ESG goals and set out good practices in achieving carbon neutrality and green industrial transformation.
