Established in 2013, ITDC aims at promoting technological applications among Hong Kong industries, facilitating cooperation among Government, industry, academia and research sectors, and supporting Hong Kong in becoming an international I&T hub.

 

Since the establishment of strategic partnership between FHKI and the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong (ASHK) in 2015, ITDC maintains regular dialogue and collaboration with ASHK, Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, Hong Kong Institution of Science and Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Advance Manufacturing Sub-Committee aims at joining hands with government departments, academia and research institutions to promote the exchange of know-how and adoption of smart manufacturing in Hong Kong, so as to empower the development of Hong Kong’s manufacturers towards Industry 4.0.

 

AI and Robotics Sub-Committee

AI and Robotics Sub-Committee serves as a platform for bringing together like-minded partners from the industry, academia, Government and NGOs to empower the local AI and Robotics ecosystem by leveraging attributes of Hong Kong and creating synergy among stakeholders.

 

BioTech Sub-Committee

BioTech Sub-Committee aims to foster collaboration with other leading organizations and institutions to leverage expertise, resources and networks to advance innovation in the biotechnology industry.

 

Digital Infrastructure and Smart City Sub-Committee

Digital Infrastructure and Smart City Sub-Committee aims to serve as a platform between industry, innovation and technology sectors, research institutions, and government departments to promote more effective development and application of digital infrastructure, with the goal of transforming Hong Kong into a world-class smart city.

 

Education Technology Sub-Committee

Education Technology Sub-Committee aims at joining hands with local institutions, organisations and industrialists to foster the development of technology education in Hong Kong, inspire youngsters’ interest in and commitment to I&T, as well as to nurture outstanding I&T talents for Hong Kong industries, in a bid to strengthen competitiveness of Hong Kong.

 

GreenTech Sub-Committee

GreenTech Sub-committee aims to discuss how to promote green technology, share leading environmental technologies with members, and promote Hong Kong towards the goal of carbon neutrality.

 

Micro Electronics Sub-Committee

Micro Electronics Sub-Committee aims to provide a platform to promote technical cooperation between industry, research institutions, academia and government, and to promote the sustainable development of Hong Kong's microelectronics industry.
