In September 2024, FHKI submitted its policy recommendations to the 2024 Policy Address to the HKSAR Government.  FHKI has put forward 6 major advocacies and 6 areas of recommendations to the Policy Address. The 6 major advocacies are as follows:

 

1.      Maximize Cash Flow for SMEs

2.      Boost Supercomputing Power for Competition

3.      Drive Intelligent Medical Engineering and “Primary Evaluation”

4.      Revitalise the Financial Markets

5.      Build Northern Metropolis I&T Museum

6.      Support Venturing into the ASEAN

 

In addition to the 6 major advocacies above, FHKI has also proposed a number of short, medium, and long-term measures in the following 6 policy areas:

 

1.      Kickstarting economic recovery and alleviating financial pressures on businesses

2.      Driving new industrialisation through innovation and technology

3.      Strengthening Hong Kong's unique competitive advantages

4.      Enhancing regional connectivity

5.      Bolstering the industrial talent pool

6.      Enhancing the sustainable competitiveness of the local business community.
